Urns can now be sold on any order from their own catalogue, every inventory item can point at the exact QuickBooks item it syncs to, and generating a document can email your customer a link the moment it is ready.
⚱️ Sell cremation urns
+ Add Urn in New Quote → Accessories puts an urn on the order, right alongside vases and porcelains.
Build your urn catalogue in Settings with name, capacity, material, price and notes, then pick from it on the quote.
Urns follow the order through to the order screens and onto the documents.
The urn card always shows its price, with an x-quantity total when you sell more than one.
🧾 The right QuickBooks item, every time
A QuickBooks link field in the inventory edit window lets you pick the exact QuickBooks item a stone syncs to.
The order wizard's stone picker carries the link through, so the invoice posts your own item.
A review banner surfaces the QuickBooks items that still need a look.
📨 Tell the customer their document is ready
A Notify the customer checkbox in the Generate windows emails your client a link to view the new document.
When no window appears, a timed prompt in the bottom-left corner offers the same choice, including inside the order popup.
🎫 A shop ticket the shop can read
The cemetery pin map prints — the map picked in Cemetery and Logistics is saved as an image in Notes and Files and prints on the shop ticket and foundation order in its own Cemetery location section.
Design notes print too — notes typed in Sketch and Inscription land in a Design Notes block, labeled per decedent (Design Notes — Jane Doe) when they differ, collapsed to one block when identical.

Your logo now prints on every document, each location carries its own branding and tax rate, and confirming an order deducts the exact stone it was built from.
🖼️ Your logo, on every document
Upload it in Settings → Company Profile and it prints on all of them: invoice, quote, contract, receipt, shop ticket, purchase order, foundation order. Set it left, center or right and preview the placement before you generate.
Each location can carry its own logo, and purchase and foundation orders show the order's location in the From block.
📍 Each location on its own terms
A default tax rate per location in Settings → Office Locations. An order takes the rate you typed, then the county's, then the location's, then the company's.
Change Location moves an order and regenerates its invoice, quote and contract under the new one. Old QuickBooks records are voided, not left behind.
🧾 QuickBooks: the right customer, every time
Pick the customer up front in New Quote → Review & Create, or create one from the purchaser's details.
Fix it afterwards in Settings → Integrations → Order sync activity → Sync Order. MonuDesk voids what it made under the old customer and rebuilds it under the right one, however old the order.
Quotes reach QuickBooks your way: Estimate (recommended, posts nothing to your books until the customer confirms), Invoice, or Nothing.
🪨 Confirming an order deducts the right stone
No more hunting through your stone list. MonuDesk names the exact stone the order is built from, with color, size, SKU and what's on the shelf, and you confirm in one click. Multi-stone orders list each piece, and stock already pulled says so.

Needing Reorder is now a filter — click the tile to see only what's low.
SKUs are unique to your company, so keep your own numbering.
PFT BRP and STL BRP added, and flat markers get their own top and edges slider.

Your color list gets a proper home, screens keep themselves up to date, and a stone can be sold with no foundation at all. Here is everything new.
🔄 Screens keep themselves up to date
Two people on the same order used to work blind until somebody reloaded. Now every open screen re-checks for changes when you come back to the tab, click back into the window, or your internet returns. The live connection reconnects on its own, so a closed laptop lid no longer kills updates for the rest of the day.
🎨 Colors get their own page in Settings
Settings → Colors is a real page: search, add, rename, and click the swatch to upload a photo of the granite. Removing a color drops it into Hidden colors with a Restore button, and only hides it from new quotes.
It is five sections, and you drag a color card between them to file it:
All — offered everywhere
Granite catalog — monuments, bases, inventory, granite vases
Granite vases only / Metal vases only / Bronze only
Nothing moves on its own. Every color you have today behaves exactly as it did, and a color already saved on an order stays there. Adding a MetalCraft or bronze finish name used to land it in the granite catalog, where it turned up as a monument color on every quote and in the 3D designer. File it under Bronze or Metal and it stays out of the way.
Also in the vase catalog: type your own style names instead of picking from a locked list of eight, Cross, Classic and Elegant added, and General Size for a vase that is one price whatever the size.
🪨 A stone can be sold with no foundation
Foundation Material now offers None, Concrete or Granite, and it can be set on a flat marker or a baseless slant, where the switch used to sit inside Base Finishes.
New stones start at None. That keeps the foundation off the review step, the order overview, the order total and every document, and greys out Generate Foundation Order. Stones you already have were moved to Concrete or Granite automatically, so no existing paperwork changes. A cemetery with Foundation Required ticked still raises the Foundation to-do on its own.
The foundation order also names concrete or granite on the line above the placement.
🧾 QuickBooks
Tell MonuDesk how your QuickBooks writes sizes. An item called Bevel 24x10x4 does not say which number is which, and MonuDesk assumed Width x Height x Thickness. There is now a Dimension order setting in Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks with all six orderings, and every import shows you a worked example and asks you to confirm before it runs. Future imports only.
A stone posts as your own QuickBooks product on the invoice, instead of a generic "Die" or "Upright" service item.
Cancelling an order reverses its paperwork. Cancel Order warns you first: how much money is recorded, how many documents get voided, and that QuickBooks cannot undo it. Voided documents stay visible marked Voided. Anything it will not touch is listed under Some records need to be handled manually, and payments are left as an unapplied credit rather than pretending the money never arrived.
Keep one order off the books with a Send this order to QuickBooks switch on the last step of the New Order wizard, on by default. Inventory still syncs so stock does not drift. Set at creation only.

📍 Pin the plot and the location goes on your paperwork
Drop or move the pin in Cemetery and Logistics and MonuDesk saves a zoomed satellite image with a red marker straight onto the order. Generate a foundation order or shop ticket and it is waiting in the Select images list, so the setter gets a picture of the spot instead of a plot number. Moving the pin replaces it, switching it off deletes it. The map search now finds towns and cemeteries too.
📦 Stock counts are more accurate
Inventory matching is much tighter now. Sizes have to line up properly before MonuDesk treats a stone as one you already have on the shelf, so the right stone gets reused, priced and counted.
Delete a row straight from the Inventory list, without opening it first.
💵 Pricing
Every shop location can have its own line item prices. Set a price per location and the Add line item list shows what that order's location will actually charge, not the company-wide figure.
📄 Documents
Give a stone its own name. Click the pencil and type something like Individual Upright Signature Package, and it replaces the STONE A heading on the quote, invoice, contract, shop ticket and purchase order. This only applies to orders with two or more stones, since a single-stone order has no STONE A heading to replace. The pencil is on the price summary, on Review and Create, and in both Generate windows.
Regenerating replaces the old file and marks the new one V2, instead of stacking a second identically named quote your customer could still open in the portal. Receipts and purchase orders are left alone.
The contract has signature lines for both sides, an ACCEPTED AND AGREED block with the purchaser and your own authorized signature. If you customized your contract text you still have the old single "Signature:" line in your terms, so remove it.
Any photo on the order can go on a document. The picker only listed files filed as Drawing or Sketch. It now lists every image, with drawings and sketches still ticked by default.
✅ To-dos and scheduling
Choose who each to-do goes to by default with an Assign to picker in Settings → Order Management → To-Dos. Set it once and every task MonuDesk raises on that to-do opens already assigned.
To-do activity appears on the Activity Timeline, with a Tasks filter chip, as your team works the order.
Which stages count as ready to install is now shop-wide, not personal. Two people could each have a different idea of what the crew works from. Whoever sets it now sets it for everybody.
Schedule an install even when the cemetery is not filled in yet. The slot used to grey itself out, so a date agreed on the phone lived on a sticky note.
A promise date can be removed with a small x, and an empty slot shows a dashed card you can click to set one.
Production scheduling opens straight into the form instead of an empty placeholder.

Two new ways to get a job through the shop — a real work order for lettering, and a calendar for what happens at the bench — plus 30+ fixes, most of them MonuDesk being more careful with what you've already typed.
✍️ Lettering jobs get their own work order
Every service order now has a Lettering & Inscription card in step 3 of New Quote: which stone, the names and dates with an Engrave this box against each one, and a free-text inscription that reaches the engraver exactly as you typed it. Unticked means it's already on the stone, don't re-cut it. Copy from plot details pulls in the decedents you already entered and deliberately ticks nothing — you choose what gets cut.
The shop ticket then prints three separate blocks: the stone, ENGRAVE THIS in larger type, and Already on stone — DO NOT CUT.
🗓️ A Scheduling tab on every order, and a Production calendar
The Production calendar is the new half. Plan Cut, Carve, Sandblast, Engrave, QC and Ready against a day, drag events to a new date, color them by production stage or by office, and filter down to one person. It sits on the dashboard and the Installations page behind an Installation / Production toggle.
While we were in there: you can now set an install date before the cemetery paperwork catches up. A missing cemetery is a note above the form instead of a wall in front of it.

🛟 MonuDesk stops losing what you typed
These fixes stop MonuDesk writing over what you'd already entered. They can't recover what's gone, so older orders are worth a spot-check.
- Customer contact details stop getting partly wiped — New Quote was writing a stripped-down copy back over the real contact
- Looking up a customer no longer creates a second one — searching Olafson used to leave a stray contact called Ola
- Cemetery & Plots stops reverting what you're typing, which was visibly shortening decedents' last names
- Inscription & Artwork stops wiping details it doesn't own — middle names, and lettering setups it never touched
- "Client update failed" is fixed, and no longer throws away the name and address you just typed
📄 Documents and drawings
- Front and back drawings get a full page each on contracts and quotes, instead of printing two inches wide
- Blank pages and duplicate drawings no longer print — documents take the newest sketch per side
- Unticking a drawing sticks on the stored copy your customer, your email and QuickBooks receive
- Documents spell out which finish goes on which face (F: Polished | B: Steeled) instead of "Custom Finish"
- A custom top shape prints the words you typed, not the literal word "Custom"
- The drawing picker shows your sketches — it only ever recognized uploaded files, so most orders never asked
- You can delete a back drawing, every saved revision of it
- Files show a real thumbnail instead of four identical rows all labeled "Drawing"
📋 Orders and the timeline
- Saving a sketch or an order is fast again — dealers were seeing 30 to 60 seconds
- Record something that happened off-system — an Add event button on the Activity Timeline for the day a monument was set, a foundation poured, a stone delivered
- Timeline entries show who did each thing instead of leaving a blank
- The order archive loads again — one bad order used to blank the entire list
- Dragging cards between stages no longer throws a full-page error
🧾 Vendors and cemeteries
- Purchase orders no longer say BRP when you chose Steeled — vendors were being told to rock-pitch a steeled face
- Every vendor shows up in the dropdown — the pickers loaded only your 10 most recent, then searched within those ten
- The Sexton Address saves and comes back — it was stored correctly, but every screen reopened blank
💬 Conversations
- Archiving and trashing lines up with Gmail — handled as label changes, so an archive done in Gmail comes back
- Disconnecting a mailbox no longer leaves it nagging you to reconnect

Your QuickBooks item list and your MonuDesk inventory now keep each other up to date, plus upgrades across payments and billing.
🔄 Import your inventory from QuickBooks
Open Inventory and hit Import from QuickBooks. It runs on the server, so you can close the tab and come back, and finishes with a summary plus a CSV of how every row was matched.
Every shop names items its own way — 0-2x0-2x0-2 Academy Black Bevel, Bevel - Academy Black, 2*2*2. MonuDesk tries the safe signals first (already linked, SKU, exact name), then matches on attributes. Size is a hard gate: two items of different sizes never match, however alike the names look.
What the AI does. For the leftovers, it gets the item's name and description and nothing else — no prices, no customers — and maps those words to category, piece type, shape, color and size. It does not decide what matches; the rules above do. Anything uncertain is held in a Review now queue with confidence scores, and no inventory row is created until you approve it.
Going the other way is automatic: edit a price or pull a stone and it pushes back. Quantity is reconciled as a difference, never an overwrite, so a delivery entered in QuickBooks won't wipe the stock you deducted this morning. On/off is Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks, per office.

🧾 Track every purchase order in one place
The new PO Tracking page puts every purchase order you send to a vendor in one list. Mark each PO received or done, keep vendor and tracking details right next to it, and clear out the ones you're finished with.PO numbers and order numbers are clickable, so you can jump straight to the job — it opens in the order popup without leaving the page. When several orders go out on one bulk PO, they collapse into a single line with a combined download, and on multi-location accounts each shop sees only its own POs.

📄 Combine multiple orders into one document
If a single family has three separate orders on your board (say a die, a footstone, and a service order), you can now roll them into one shop ticket, one invoice, one contract, or one purchase order.
Head to your Order Management screen and click the document icon at the top right. Select the orders you want to combine (same contact), pick which document to generate, and MonuDesk produces a single consolidated PDF with every stone and line item together. Great for wholesalers filing paperwork by PO, and great for families who don't want three separate contracts to sign.
Each source order keeps its own kanban card and stage. Only the paperwork consolidates.

Take payments online, add branch locations, and use MonuDesk on any tablet. Three of our biggest releases ever, all in one drop.
💳 MonuPay: get paid online
Customers can now pay you directly from the customer portal. They hit Pay Now, enter their card, and the money hits your account the next day.
Everything else automatically happens on its own. The payment logs to the order, the balance updates, a receipt drops right under the payment in the customer portal so the family can see it, you get notified, and the whole thing syncs to QuickBooks.
If you're already taking card payments today, MonuPay is a strict upgrade: no more re-typing the amount into QuickBooks, no more manually marking the balance as paid, no more sending a receipt as a separate email, no more chasing a family for the last check.
Fees are 2.99% for cards, 3.99% for Amex. You choose whether your shop absorbs the fee or passes it along to the customer.
Set it up in Settings → MonuPay. Everything you need to get approved and start collecting is right there.

You can now edit or delete any payment on any order. Fix a wrong amount, correct the date, or remove one entirely if it went on the wrong order.
Apple Pay and ACH bank transfer are next.
🏢 Run multiple shops on one account
If you have more than one location, you can now run all of them under one MonuDesk account.
At the top of the app there's a new office switcher. Pick a location to work only in that shop's world, or pick All Locations to see the whole company at once. Every part of the app respects your choice: the Dashboard, Order Management, Inventory, Insights, Tax Report, Installations, everything.
Each location keeps its own inventory, pricing, team members, and inboxes. When you write a new quote, the stone search prefills the price from that order's location, not from a master list. Wholesale contacts can now belong to more than one location.

📱 MonuDesk on your iPad
MonuDesk is now fully usable on an iPad. Same version you already know from your desktop, no stripped-down mode, no missing features. Just really satisfying to use with touch, especially the drag and drop on the order board.
No download. No App Store. Load app.monudesk.com in Safari and, if you want it to feel like a real app, hit the share button and Add to Home Screen.
Be more mobile with it. Bring your iPad to the cemetery for install day (grab a mobile data plan if you need one) and work the same way you would at your desk.
