It should be possible to edit a quote if it is not a confirmed order yet. Editing it means that I can go inside order overview and change the stone color, the size, the prices, notes, and so on.
I also need the ability to edit the payment split on a quote. Sometimes I forget to set the required 50% deposit when first creating the quote, and then I can't go back to change it. Being able to modify this before any payments are made would be very helpful for our workflow.
