Getting the proof to show up o the shop ticket

Sometimes the proof shows up on the shop ticket, other times it does not. I have tried uploading both pdf and jpg file types to the order page and to the documents page as a drawing. Tell me how I can make the proof show up on the shop ticket every time please and thank you!
