Over the past week we shipped a lot. The biggest thing to address first: some of you noticed prices weren't saving correctly over the weekend and into Monday morning. That was a real bug and we're sorry it happened. It was fixed Monday afternoon. If anything looks off on orders from that window, reach out and we'll sort it out.

🔍 Search by deceased name

You can now search for orders by the deceased's name. If you remember the family but not the order number, just type the name and it'll come up.

✏️ Step 2 of New Quote got a redesign

The buttons on the second step of the New Quote popup were confusing, especially knowing what was on and what was off. We redesigned them so the layout makes more sense, the labels are clearer, and all the on/off toggles now have higher contrast so you can tell at a glance what's active.

💲 Entering prices is less annoying now

The pre-filled zero in the pricing fields is gone. Before, you had to delete the 0 before typing a number. Now the field is empty and you type straight in.

📋 Missing plot details now create a to-do

If you create an order for a cemetery that has required plot details turned on but didn't fill that info in yet, MonuDesk will automatically add a to-do on the order reminding you to get it. No more orders slipping through with missing cemetery info.

🛠️ Sketch builder fixes

Two things got fixed. Text and arrows now always sit on top of every other element — no more shapes covering up your labels. Also, adding a date in the sketch and inscription section was duplicating the deceased's name when saving to draft. That's resolved.

💳 Payment logging now updates instantly

When you log a payment from the order overview or the order management screen, the balance updates right away. No more refreshing the page to see the new number.

📄 PDF fixes

"No supplier" no longer shows up where it shouldn't, and the pricing calculations in the PDF are now correct.

Also in this update

The company profile settings page was cleaned up to only show relevant fields. Thickness dimensions in the order review screen were showing in the wrong order — fixed. The "picture pending" to-do for porcelain orders is now gray instead of yellow. And we made some stability improvements under the hood.
